Agreement of Cooperation with Narvik University College from Norway

13.9.2012.

During the official visit  to University College of  Narvik in Norway, on 10.09.2012. , was signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions of higher education. The agreement was signed by the Vice-Rector of the University of  Banja Luka Valerija Saula and Rector of the Narvik University College prof. Arne Erik Hold (HOLD Arne Erik).

Effective cooperation between the University of Banja Luka University College of Narvik began participating in a project funded by the Government of Norway, which is known for its abbreviated name BANOROB (out of HERD / ICT). The essence of the project is that through innovation based on scientific research to develop new, environmentally friendly and quality robotic technology for specific target groups. During the project includes the development of modern high-tech curriculum of modern robotics and production engineering at the University of Banja Luka, a few students will have the opportunity to spend a semester at a partner university in Norway, and exercise practices in companies who are also partners in the project . The project participants is also  the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, and PPM company from Trondhaim, The project began in January 2012. year and will be last until March 2015. year. Project Coordinator for the University of Banja Luka is  a Professor  Tihomir Latinovic. During a visit to Narvik, there was a meeting of the Project Steering Committee. The signing of the bilateral agreement on cooperation will be allowed to continue activities that are in progress, and initiate new forms of cooperation after the end of the project BANOROB.
