Elas Komerc
is a company engaged in the processing of metals and its products can be classified into three basic variants:

– Metal box of thin sheets. For us this is the finished product in which our customers installs electronic and other components depending on the purpose.

– Steel-pipe construction. The most common products are a steel pallets for the auto industry and related products.

– Chairs. This is the type specjalnih chairs that are made to order, and of which usually requires a high degree of quality and usually main elements adapt to the customers (height of seating, design, etc.)

In short we will explain the process (technology), production of these typical products:


Design and production of technical documentation
In the event that a product developed by naručica, ie that there is technical documentation for production then skips stages of design and pre-production is carried out only adapting existing documentation to our production.
If the buyer has only the basic requirements for their product then starts to design products. The first step is to make a 3D model which is mainly used SolidWorks software. After examination and approval the 3D model by client, we start to produce one prototype sample. On the sample we make the last correction, if necessary, define all the remaining details after the approval of the sample by client we are making the final technical documentation necessary for product launch.


This is a product that is made mainly of thin sheets 0.8-3 mm thick. These are mostly cold-rolled steels sheets and to a lesser extent stainless (stainless steel) sheets. All positions are undergoing the next stage of processing:

• Cutting

The process of cutting the material being performed:
-In the case of straight cuts on the hydraulic scissors for cutting sheet metal. Maximum length of cut is 3 mm, a thickness of 5 mm.
– All the complicated contours of the laser cut. Dimension laser tables are 1500×3000 mm, a thickness that can be cut are: steel sheets up to 20 mm thick , Al sheets up to 6 mm thick and stainless steel sheets up to 10 mm thick.
-In case on positions needed to make a specific hole or some other kind of deformation (branchiae for ventilation) and similar positions are processed on CNC punching, or using different tools on eccentric presses.

• Sheet metal forming

Partial sheet metal forming is doing on mentioned presses, and CNC punching, but the basic process for sheet metal forming are CNC Hydraulic Apkant Presses for bending.
The process is performed at 3 Apkant presses. Maximum bending length is 3 m, a maximum thickness of 5-6 mm

• Welding

The welding process is carried and with the help of robots for welding. Mainly is used CO2 (MAG) welding process for steel plates and argon welding (TIG) for welding position of stainless steel. In most cases, welding is carried is done in pattern on classic mode or whenever feasible using the robot.

• The process of grinding and polishing

Because the most products have a high aesthetic demands of the majority of welded joints requires polishing. Process polishing is necessary for the steel plates that are going to finish with chrome-nickel and stainless steel positions after the welding process.
The process of grinding and polishing is done by hand and by machine with machine for grinding and polishing positions.

• Finish processes

The largest number of positions are elektrosatski varnish (powder painting). This procedure is done by us on an automatic line for electrostatic painting. The process is automated and provides a moving positions from 1 to 1.4 m/min, and the procedure for applying powder it is made automaticly.
Parts that require a different finishing such as chrome-nickel, zinc, etc. are sent to companies that perform services for us, these types of processing

• Assembly and packaging

Assembling usually involves positions by screw togheter and packaging positions for transport. Assembling process is done manually with the help of electric and pneumatic tools.


The basis of these products include steel profiles (pipes, flah and similar profiles) and to a lesser extent to 10 mm thick sheets.
